Bathroom Remodeling
Up grading your bathrooms is one of the wisest investment decisions you could make to increase the value of your home. Home buyers these days are just as interested in luxury bathrooms with all bells and whistles and, when faced with a choice of two similar sized homes in the same area, don't mind paying extra for the one with the glamorous bathrooms. Even something as simple as a bath tub remodel can give your old bathroom a new lease of life. Always decide on a bath remodeling plan that takes into consideration your space constraints, as well as your budget. Your bathroom should be in sync with the rest of the house, when it comes to theme and décor.
The design of your shower can be one of the most troublesome decisions in a bathroom model. If you have the luxury of a large bath, you may have the freedom and choice to install the latest shower stalls. If you have a small bathroom however, fitting a stall can be a problem. If a shower stall is not an option, choose a curved quadrant shower, preferably with a detachable shower head. For a larger bathroom, you can easily install a separate tub for long soaks, and a shower stall for a quick morning rinse. A limitless range of stall designs and sizes make choosing a bath shower a complicated affair. Choose from two person showers, spa like showers that function like saunas, and door less showers. Your shower stall can quickly transform into your own personal relaxation enclosure.
While a shower is a practical and time efficient bathing option, there is nothing to beat the luxury of a luxurious soak in a bath tub. When it comes to bath tub styles, there are more styles than you can choose from. The traditional recessed system that has only one side visible is installed to fit within 3 walls. A corner tub is installed between two walls. A free standing tub can be placed just anywhere in the bathroom you want. These can come in the form of vintage looking claw foot tubs, or sophisticated modern visions in granite and marble. Besides, there are whirlpool tubs, and Jacuzzi style tubs with hundreds of tiny jets that shoot out water at high pressure to provide an intensely relaxing experience. If you are looking at a whirlpool tub, you will need a dedicated water heater and electrical circuit.

I need the work done this month Aug 2009 and and estimate this week. I have a fiberglass tub with shower surround that has a crack in the floor of the tub in the existing bath up stairs. A new mixing valve is needed in this unit also. Am interested in possibly building a 2nd bath into the basement also. |
I would like to convert a 2 car garage into a living room. This would include removing the garage door and adding a window and siding. Also, we would like to add a shower to the existing 1/2 bathroom. (we would need to extend the bathroom into the garage area by 4 feet to make room for the stand up shower) |
